A Poem

...which I wrote.


Somnambulism

Let me set the scene for you.

It is morning and you climb out of bed
and slip on your cold dress.
It is still dark outside and you aren’t sure
if any of this is real.

The world appears in shades of gray.

The landscape is uninspiring.
It requires rearrangement so that its image
will appear differently.

Suddenly the sky explodes with purple;
the rest of the world awakens.

Today was apparently my day for fancy new dresses. I got the Plenty by Tracy Reese dress pictured below at Crossroads Trading Company for $65 and it even still had the $268 tag on it! Then to top it all off my Orla Kiely dress that I won on Ebay came in the mail today. Needless to say, I had a good day!

I'm more of a coffee drinker than tea, but this is my favorite flavor. I'm drinking some right now in fact. So tasty!

Decor

If I had a huge budget and the space to decorate, then I would buy lots of pretty things from Anthropologie.

Fall Shopping

I went school clothes shopping today and then placed an order online as well. The dress is Juicy Couture and I got it at Crossroads Trading Co. for $27.50, retail was $328, I later found out online. The graffic tee is a men's tee from Urban Outfitters, which I purchased for lazy days. The art is from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The black tee and cardigan are both from J. Crew and seemed like good basics.
